Hand Craft Prize List 2018 – Class 31

ALL ARENA EXHIBITS TO BE ENTERED ON WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 3, 2018 BETWEEN 4-9 PM
GENERAL HANDICRAFT RULES:

  • Exhibits must be the sole work of the exhibitor unless otherwise stated.
  • All work must be new
  • Exhibiting of articles in our fair is intended for individuals who engage in their craft as a pastime or hobby, except class 31, section 23 (new
  • In order to keep a high standard at our fair, judges have been authorized to disqualify all soiled, defective, incomplete, or worn entries or those previously exhibited at the Elmvale Fall Fair. We expect honesty
  • Include name of quilt patter(method) and designer , if known. Please acknowledge designers and source of patterns. IE: Pinterest. This also includes knitted, crocheted and counted cross stitch items if purchased from a kit . IE Mary Maxim. Please recognize there efforts
  • You are invited to include your inspiration (story behind or reason) for making the quilt.
  • Signature labels must be covered
  • Fabric and/or yarn samples are to be included with all entries. Failure to attached sufficient samples will result in disqualification
  • Fabric casing/sleeves(ma be temporary) must be attached to all quilt and wall hangings so they can be hung for display
  • Wreaths and artwork must be equipped for hanging unless otherwise specified
  • Use safety pins only, No straight pins 
  • All winning entries in the hand and domestic machine quilted categories may qualify in advance to the district ( October) and provincial (O.A.A.S. in February) level competitions if criteria are met. Please indicate on the entry tag if you DO NOT WANT your entry to advance
